Job summary

WSP is seeking an Early Professional Environmental Engineer to join our Earth & Environment team in Indianapolis, IN and nearby locations. This role focuses on site investigation and remediation projects for energy clients, with a mix of field and office work across northern Indiana.

Qualifications

B.S. in Environmental Engineering or related field is required.
0–1 years of relevant experience in environmental sampling/site investigation/remediation.
Must be organized and detail-oriented.
Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

Approximately 70% field work and travel with overnight stays.
Perform environmental sampling (surface water, groundwater, soil, sediment, soil vapor, indoor air) and oversee subcontractors in the field.
Complete detailed field notes and documentation of field activities.
Collaborate with staff across multiple disciplines and communicate effectively.
Communicate professionally with staff, management, clients, regulators, and on-site personnel.
Assist with project planning and coordination with laboratories, drillers, and equipment vendors.
