Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the Massachusetts Bar.
• Approximately 2–6 years of litigation experience.
• Strong legal research, writing and analytical skills.
• Experience with commercial or business litigation strongly preferred.
• Ability to manage deadlines and multiple matters independently.

Responsibilities

• Manage commercial and civil litigation matters from inception through resolution.
• Draft pleadings, motions, legal memoranda, discovery requests and responses.
• Conduct legal research and develop litigation strategy.
• Participate in depositions, hearings, mediations and arbitrations.
• Assist with and increasingly take ownership of court appearances and trial preparation.
• Communicate directly with clients and opposing counsel.
• Collaborate closely with partners while developing increasing independence over matters.
• Participate in business development and professional-development opportunities.
