Job summary

Affirm is hiring Early Career Analyst roles within its Risk & Analytics organization. Analysts join one of several teams across the customer and merchant lifecycle, using SQL, Python, and modern analytics tools to transform data into actionable business insights.

You will learn consumer lending fundamentals while supervised by senior analysts, contribute to performance monitoring, and support data-driven decisions across geographies and products.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree or higher with an expected completion by Aug 2027 or earlier.
• Degree in Data Science, CS, Engineering, Economics, Statistics, Math or related field preferred.
• Working knowledge of SQL, Python, or other scripting languages.
• Familiarity with data mining, data visualization, and foundational statistics.

Responsibilities

• Derive insights and support strategy across product, risk, or growth.
• Monitor portfolio health and flag risks and anomalies.
• Technical execution with clean SQL and Python; collaborate to deploy ML and risk models.
• Cross-functional collaboration with product, legal, and compliance to translate regulations into data models.
• Drive launch alignment for new product launches and market entries.
• Integrate AI tools to accelerate data mining and routine tasks.
