Job summary

Blue Origin is seeking an Aerospace Systems Engineer to design and engineer the systems infrastructure, including hardware, software, and configurations. You will work with teams to establish and improve processes, supporting multiple programs across core business units.

You will engage in system definition, test, integration, and verification activities, leading reviews and ensuring readiness for critical milestones.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a B.S. degree in engineering or another technical field.
• Will have earned their degree within the last year and able to start by Fall 2027.
• Experience with aerospace, mechanical, electrical, or systems engineering on complex systems.
• Ability to decompose problems into traceable tasks and communicate status.
• Internship/co-op and/or hands-on experience demonstrating technical and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• System definition, test, integration, safety, operations and verification across fluid, mechanical, propulsion and electrical systems.
• Decompose customer requirements into test system requirements with traceability.
• Develop and manage interfaces through ICDs and drawings.
• Lead gated reviews (SRR, PDR, CDR) on overall system readiness and deliverables.
• Own verification and validation planning, traceability and Test Readiness Reviews.
