Job summary

Blue Origin is seeking early-career Aerospace Systems Engineers to design and integrate complex systems infrastructure. Candidates will work on system definition, verification, and interfaces across propulsion, mechanical, and electrical domains.

We value hands-on experience from internships or co-ops, with ability to communicate progress and collaborate in rapid development programs. Fall 2026 start is expected; multiple U.S. locations available.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a B.S. degree in engineering or another technical field.
• Will have earned their degree within the last year and able to start by Fall 2026.
• Experience with aerospace, mechanical, electrical, or systems engineering on complex systems.
• Internship/co-op and/or hands-on experience demonstrating development of technical skills and leadership.
• Ability to earn trust, build positive relationships, and strengthen an inclusive culture.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team on rapid development programs.
• Flexible and adaptable mindset.
• Self-driven with proactive requirement discovery.

Responsibilities

• Design and engineer the overall systems infrastructure including engineering, implementation and integration.
• Develop, implement, install, maintain, and administer infrastructures (hardware, software, configurations).
• Lead system definition, system test, integration, safety, operations, and verification for fluid, mechanical, propulsion, and electrical systems.
• Decompose internal customer requirements into test system requirements and traceability.
• Develop & manage interfaces via ICDs and drawings; present at major gated reviews (SRR, PDR, CDR).
• Own verification and validation planning, traceability and Test Readiness Reviews.
