Job summary

AUBERGINE KITCHEN is hiring for a Breakfast Station role serving both front-of-house and back-of-house duties. You’ll be part of an early, fast-paced team, focusing on breakfast prep, order accuracy, and guest satisfaction in a bustling kitchen environment.

Shifts run early from 7am to 11am, with weekends included and Sundays closed. Training includes an onboarding program and a Food Handler Certificate within 14 days, with opportunities to support the register and smoothie station as needed.

Qualifications

• Basic English sufficient to follow tickets and communicate with guests and team members.
• Skill in food prep with attention to presentation and portioning; speed, focus, and stamina for an early, fast-paced environment.
• 18+; prior restaurant experience a plus, not required.
• Completes Aubergine's onboarding program; Food Handler Certificate within 14 days of hire (company-supported).
• Able to stand/walk for extended periods and lift/push/carry up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Calibrate equipment and prepare all breakfast items (eggs, toasts, sides, smoothies, acaí, ice cream, desserts) per standardized recipes.
• Assist at the register and support the smoothie station through 11:00 a.m.; follow dietary restrictions accurately.
• Open and organize the cold line with FIFO rotation; keep your workstation clean, organized, and sanitized throughout the shift.
• Fully restock ingredients and supplies before, during, and after your shift (tasks may vary by location).
• Maintain shift records and communicate clearly about what's prepped and what's needed for the next shift.
