Job summary

Herndon Solutions Group (HSG) seeks an experienced EAP Lead to support the NIH Occupational Medical Services program in Bethesda, MD. This role leads a team of EAP consultants, ensures timely, confidential, and compassionate services, and collaborates with federal program leadership.

The onsite position at NIH Bethesda requires clinical oversight, crisis intervention, education, and referrals. Start date anticipated January 1, 2027, with contract award contingencies.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in social work, counseling, or related field.
• Current clinical licensure (LCSW-C or LCPC).
• Minimum of two years of postgrad clinical counseling experience.
• Experience in crisis management and training outreach.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily onsite leadership and supervision of contract EAP consultants.
• Ensure adherence to SOPs, clinical standards and contract requirements.
• Provide short-term individual and group counseling.
• Conduct clinical triage, crisis intervention, and risk assessments.
• Coordinate with NIH management and EAP Manager on clinical matters.
• identify and coordinate referrals to community resources.
• Maintain confidential clinical records and support training initiatives.
