Job summary

The MTA is seeking an EAM Value Realization, Emerging Talent Intern for the Spring term. This onsite role at 2 Broadway, New York, NY 10004 involves digitizing new assets in GIS and leveraging the Data Lake to provide analytics for better asset management decisions.

Responsibilities include leveraging EAM data to improve operations, identifying cost-saving opportunities, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to share insights and develop best practices.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is a must.
• Organizational, analytical and communication skills required.
• Ability to work under pressure and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Detail-oriented and able to work independently while being a team player.

Responsibilities

• Use EAM and other data to help teams make better decisions and improve operations.
• Analyze asset performance to identify failures, root causes, and opportunities to improve reliability and productivity.
• Help identify ways to reduce costs and improve efficiency through process, resource, risk, and operational analysis.
• Support improvement projects by using data to demonstrate opportunities, track results, and help address implementation challenges and develop best practices.
• Collaborate with agency leaders, operations and maintenance teams, and analytics teams to solve problems and share useful insights.
• Support better management of physical assets throughout their full life cycle, from planning and use through maintenance and replacement.
• Help improve service quality and overall performance using EAM and other available data.
• Create and maintain applications or tools that make day-to-day operations easier and more efficient.
