The Metropolitan Transportation Authority (MTA) Data & Analytics team is seeking a Spring Emerging Talent Intern for Data Analytics Product Management, onsite at 2 Broadway, New York. This role supports data-driven decision making and helps manage dashboards, data pipelines, and governance.

You will draft project charters, write Jira epics, coordinate with stakeholders, and assist leadership reviews. Requires graduate enrollment, GPA 2.8+, and strong MS Office skills; 20-28 hours per week.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a graduate program with GPA 2.8 or higher.
• Majors: CS/IS/Data Analytics or related.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
• Able to work onsite and commit to 20–28 hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Draft and maintain project charters for D&A initiatives.
• Write Jira epics, stories, and tasks based on requirements.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to track data access requests and deliverables.
• Review and triage incoming project requests and gather missing context.
• Attend stakeholder and vendor meetings and follow up on actions.
• Support documentation for data classification and governance.
• Assist in leadership reviews of the project portfolio.
• Support QA of delivered data products by comparing outputs to requirements.
