Job summary

Qualifications

• Experience in the insurance industry and commercial E&S knowledge.
• Strong time management, organization, and attention to detail across a high volume of submissions.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with agents and responsiveness that meets SLAs.
• Proactive problem-solver who learns quickly and adapts to systems and processes.
• Accountable for production goals and motivated by a variable incentive tied to premium.
• Developmental role with internal career path into underwriting and sales.
• Experience with Salesforce, Ascend, Front, and carrier portals.

Responsibilities

• Review and assess submissions for completeness, risk appetite fit, pricing considerations, and coverage requirements.
• Prepare and deliver quotes by analyzing risk characteristics and communicating options and recommendations to agents.
• Secure binds and complete placement by managing opportunities and coordinating necessary documentation.
• Work accounts by prioritizing submissions, maintaining pipeline visibility, and meeting service level expectations.
