Job summary

Goodwill of Central and Coastal Virginia seeks a capable supervisor to oversee the E-Recycling Department's daily operations, coordinating with IT, material handlers, and customer service teams to optimize processes and drive efficiency.

The role collaborates with e-Commerce teams to identify online sales opportunities, trains and guides associates, and ensures adherence to schedules and policies while supporting payroll processes.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred, combination with work experience possible.
• 1–3 years’ experience in a related field preferred.
• Background checks required (criminal and sex offender).
• Ability to operate PC and databases, proficiency with Microsoft Office including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily E-Recycling/Computer Store operations in absence of managers.
• Open/close store and prepare facility for business.
• Assist with training and supervision of E-Recycling associates.
• Adhere to all store schedules and hours.
• Assist with payroll preparation and submittal to finance.
• Assist with scheduling staff.
• Enforce all company policies.
• Keep supervisor informed on department operations.
• Identify online sales opportunities with the e-Commerce team.
• May train/oversee associates listing books, media, and hardware online.
• May assist in managing e-Commerce Associates as needed.
