Job summary

Goodwill of Central and Coastal Virginia is seeking a Retail Lead Associate (Finance) to help run a Goodwill retail location, donation site and in-store production facility. In the absence of the store and assistant store manager, you will direct the work of associates and ensure store goals are met.

The role emphasizes leadership, supervision, customer service, and efficient operations, with a focus on reporting, training, and process improvement.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• 1 Year leadership experience preferred.
• No professional certifications required.
• Background check required.

Responsibilities

• Run store operations in the absence of the store and assistant manager.
• Monitor associates' progress toward goals and production targets.
• Participate in production as needed to meet store goals.
• Maintain cleanliness and visual presentation; model customer service.
• Communicate with management; onboarding, meetings and appraisals.
• Solicit feedback from customers and associates and act on it.
• Use daily sales and production reports to identify trends.
• Submit closing reports and Kronos documentation when ROM/RAM are absent.
• Proactively seek opportunities to improve processes and efficiencies.
• Participate in meetings and training opportunities.
