Job summary

Accelera is seeking an Electrical and Instrumentation Technician to oversee and manage the plant's power and sensor infrastructure at a heavy industrial facility in the Charleston, SC area. The role focuses on maintaining high voltage and motor control systems and improving equipment reliability.

Candidates should have extensive experience in industrial settings, completed craft training in industrial electricity, and proficiency with IT tools and databases.

Qualifications

• Multi-year experience in heavy industrial settings (e.g., paper, metals, cement, bottling, textiles).
• Craft training focused on industrial electricity is required.
• Working knowledge of IT databases and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Maintain reliability of 12.5kV high voltage systems and 120 VDC control setups.
• Troubleshoot 480 VAC distribution networks and motor starter circuits.
• Support 120 VAC and low voltage AC/DC motor control systems operation.
