Job summary

FCC Environmental Services, LLC is seeking an Electrical and Instrumentation Technician to install, troubleshoot, calibrate, and maintain electrical and instrumentation equipment across the facility with strict adherence to safety rules.

The role requires hands-on work with LV/MV switchgear, MCCs, transformers, DCS, and energy-from-waste systems, plus on-call emergency coverage and shift work.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• 4+ years in Industrial or Power Industry Electrical and Instrumentation Maintenance, or 2+ years as a 3rd class E&I Technician with instrumentation training.

Responsibilities

• Install, troubleshoot, clean, inspect, calibrate, and maintain electrical, instrumentation equipment.
• Troubleshoot and maintain high and low/medium voltage switchgear, MCCs, transformers, and related controls.
• Calibrate and tune Distributed Control Systems (DCS) and related instrumentation.
• Ensure safety processes comply with lockout/tagout and safety rules; document work orders and records.
