Job summary
Western Sugar Cooperative in Lovell, Wyoming seeks an Electrical & Instrumentation Supervisor to lead the electrical/instrumentation team and ensure reliable operation of plant systems. Responsibilities include managing 4160V/480V distribution, PLC/DCS/SCADA controls, and driving safety and maintenance programs.
The successful candidate will develop the E&I department, implement improvements, and coordinate with maintenance planning to keep production on track while adhering to NFPA 70E and NEC
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field preferred.
- Journeyman or Master Electrician license with equivalent industrial experience considered.
- Experience in PLC, DCS, VFD, and other control systems troubleshooting.
- Experience with industrial automation software and HMI systems.
- Knowledge of NEC, NFPA 70E, and OSHA electrical standards.
Responsibilities
- Oversee electrical and instrumentation operations across the facility.
- Lead and develop E&I technicians; coach, train, hire, and discipline.
- Manage budgets and monitor KPIs for safety and reliability.
- Maintain 4160V switchgear, 480V distribution, MCCs, VFDs, and instrumentation.
- Support PLC/DCS/HMI/VFD troubleshooting and documentation.
