Job summary

Western Sugar Cooperative in Lovell, WY is seeking an Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I) Supervisor to oversee electrical and instrumentation operations across the facility. The role requires hands-on leadership, strong troubleshooting skills, and a track record in maintaining safety and reliability of complex systems from 480V to 4160V.

You will guide a team of E&I technicians, manage budgets, and coordinate maintenance planning, outages, and capital projects, while ensuring compliance with

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field; license considered.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably food industry.
• Experience with PLC, DCS, VFDs and control systems.
• Experience with industrial HMI and automation software.
• Knowledge of NEC and NFPA 70E; safety compliance.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop E&I team; ensure safety and reliability.
• Manage budget and allocate resources for E&I.
• Maintain 4160V switchgear and 480V distribution.
• Oversee PLC, DCS, HMI, and VFD troubleshooting.
• Plan outages, overhauls, and capital projects.
• Ensure drawings, P&IDs, and as-builts are updated.
