Job summary

OceanaGold Corporation is seeking an Project- E&I Supervisor to coordinate and monitor construction activities for site projects undertaken by the Capital Projects Group. The role supports the Project Manager and liaises between contractors and construction management onsite.

Requirements include 5+ years in construction, engineering or related discipline, and a valid driver’s license. The position emphasizes safety, QA/QC, and detailed daily reporting across multiple projects at Haile mine

Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant construction experience
• Experience coordinating contractors for capital projects a plus
• Engineering degree or trade qualification preferred
• Valid driver’s license

Responsibilities

• Supervise contractors performing work for Capital Projects
• Ensure contractors work safely and follow MSHA and OGC safety policies
• Witness QA/QC tests and ensure projects are built per design; record settings and tests, maintain Auto Desk records
• Create and maintain daily project reports (Auto Desk)
• Communicate progress and issues with project controller, planners, and superintendents
• Construction planning, scheduling, and resource coordination
• Interpret construction drawings, specifications, and scopes of work
• Pickup supplies and parts for projects from warehouse or storage areas
• Assist Capital Projects Civil, SMP, and Site Services groups as needed
• Attend area walk-throughs with stakeholders
