Job summary

OceanaGold is seeking an Electrical & Instrumentation Supervisor for Capital Projects in a full-time role. You will coordinate and monitor site construction activities, supervise contractors, and ensure safety and QA/QC standards are met across projects.

Experience in mining environments and a related degree or trade qualification is highly preferred. The role requires strong communication with project controllers, planners, and superintendents, along with excellent safety focus and

Qualifications

• 5+ years of construction experience.
• Plant maintenance experience is a plus.
• Trade qualifications or degree in Engineering or related discipline (Mining/Civil, Mechanical, Electrical) is highly preferred.
• Valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise contractors working for Capital Projects.
• Ensure safety compliance with MSHA and OGC policies.
• Attend contractor safety meetings and pre-shift talks.
• Witness QA/QC testing and record results in AutoDesk.
• Raise RFIs for drawings/designs and pass to Project Controller/ Superintendent.
• Create and maintain punch lists throughout the project.
• Prepare detailed daily project reports (AutoDesk).
• Communicate progress with project controller, planners, and superintendents.
• Plan construction, schedule, and coordinate resources.
• Review drawings, specs, and scopes of work.
