Fluor Corporation in Montville Township, NJ, is seeking a Shift E&I Tech to perform preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical and instrumentation equipment. Regular schedule is weekdays, 7 a.m. - 3:30 p.m., with potential overtime and licensing considerations.

Responsibilities include interpreting blueprints and troubleshooting instrument loops and PLC systems. The role requires a high school diploma or GED, 4 years E&I experience, and a CT Electrical License; DOE licensing may apply.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 4 years of E&I experience.
• CT Electrical License (E-1 or E-2).
• 2-year Instrumentation and/or Electrical Trade School Degree.
• Familiarity with PLCs & PLC logic (Allen Bradley, GE Fanuc).

Responsabilités

• Read and interpret blueprints, P&IDs, single-lines, ladder logic, and wiring schematics
• Repair and troubleshoot instrument loops including 480 VAC, 4-20 mA loops, and 120 VAC circuits
• Calibrate instruments with RTD, mA, and thermocouple calibrators and use laptops for comms
• Troubleshoot PLC problems with Allen Bradley/GE Fanuc PLCs and process transmitters
• Work overtime and after-hours as required with rotating shifts
