Job summary

Allensworth, a downtown Austin construction law firm, seeks a full-time E-Discovery Specialist to manage the full lifecycle of electronic discovery in a busy practice.

You will administer Relativity, Everlaw, and similar platforms, develop cost-effective strategies with attorneys and outside vendors, and prepare productions with Bates labels and redactions. The role emphasizes organization and deadlines, plus staying current on AI-assisted tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; paralegal certificate or litigation support preferred.
• 3+ years of eDiscovery or litigation support experience.
• Hands-on experience with at least one major eDiscovery platform; Relativity certification a plus.
• Strong knowledge of the EDRM and discovery rules under state and federal civil procedure.
• Excellent organizational and analytical skills with ability to manage multiple deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Manage full lifecycle of electronic discovery (identification, collection, preservation, processing, review, production).
• Administer and support eDiscovery platforms (Relativity, Everlaw, Reveal) including workflows.
• Develop defensible, cost-effective discovery strategies with attorneys and vendors.
• Prepare productions with load files, Bates labeling, redactions, and privilege logs.
• Coordinate with vendors on collections, hosting, budgets, and timelines.
• Maintain case trackers, chronologies, and discovery metrics/status reports.
• Advise attorneys on legal holds and data preservation.
• Stay current on eDiscovery tech and AI-assisted review tools.
• Perform overflow work as needed.
