Job summary

SGI Global is seeking an experienced Litigation Technology Specialist in Grand Rapids, MI to organize and manage electronic discovery data and evidence. You will create and administer document review databases, ensure timely production, and coordinate with law firms to resolve technical questions.

The role requires familiarity with Eclipse, Relativity, Concordance, Sanction, Trial Director, and MS Office; a collaborative mindset is essential to support investigators and AUSAs.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree preferred.
• 2 years of experience using Eclipse and Relativity in litigation.
• Experience with document management and presentation platforms such as Concordance, Sanction and Trial Director.
• Technical background with computers, scanners, and data storage devices.
• Knowledge of litigation tools and processes such as imaging, database management, OCR, and TAR.
• Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Apple software/devices.

Responsibilities

• Develop understanding of statutes and policies to guide data handling decisions.
• Organize and maintain documents and evidence for automated storage and retrieval.
• Create and administer document review databases and ensure timely productions.
• Collect, process, index, log, and present case data using various software.
• Use tools to extract file information and place data into review platforms.
• Create reports tracking e-discovery processing and production.
• Draft and review technical specs for production requests.
• Review documents produced in investigations and discovery.
• Monitor compliance with litigation hold requirements.
• Use software and hardware to assist AUSAs in presentations and trial.
• Maintain expertise on available e-discovery systems.
• Work with law firm representatives to resolve technical questions and ensure timely document production and review.
• Build and maintain relationships with USAO staff.
