Job summary

AmTrust Financial Services, Inc. is seeking an E-Discovery Paralegal in our Cleveland office to support the Litigation Department. You will manage e-discovery processes, review and produce documents, and communicate with clients and witnesses.

The role requires 1–3 years as a paralegal, a paralegal certificate, and experience with an e-discovery system. Strong written and verbal communication skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office are essential.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of paralegal experience.
• Formal paralegal certificate.
• 1+ year in litigation.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Experience with document review and production.
• Basic understanding of discovery rules for subpoenas and litigations.
• Superior interpersonal skills in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work independently and multitask.
• 3+ years of experience with an e-discovery system.

Responsibilities

• Research and analyze law sources to respond to subpoenas within the AmTrust group.
• Collect, review, redact, categorize, and produce documents using the in-house e-discovery platform.
• Communicate with clients, witnesses, adversaries, and team members about e-discovery needs.
• Interact with colleagues at all levels as part of the litigation department.
• Manage multiple priorities in a deadline-oriented setting.
• Handle confidential information discreetly and securely.
• Support attorneys and non-attorneys across various matters including subpoenas and investigations.
