Job summary

AmTrust Financial Services, Inc. is seeking an in-house e-discovery paralegal to join our litigation department in Cleveland. The role focuses on subpoenas, document review, redaction, and production using our in-house platform.

Ideal candidates have 1–3 years as a paralegal, a formal paralegal certificate, and experience in litigation. You will collaborate with lawyers and staff, manage deadlines, and maintain data integrity in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of experience as a paralegal.
• Formal paralegal certificate.
• 1+ year demonstrated experience in litigation.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Experience with document review and production.
• Basic understanding of rules concerning responding to discovery requests (subpoenas).
• 3+ years of experience with an e-discovery system.

Responsibilities

• Research and analyze law sources to respond to subpoenas.
• Collect, review, redact, categorize, and produce documents using the e-discovery platform.
• Communicate with clients, witnesses, adversaries, and team members about e-discovery needs.
• Interact with people at all levels of the company as a litigation team member.
• Manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven setting.
• Handle confidential information discreetly.
• Maintain data integrity in computer systems.
• Support attorneys and non-attorneys across matters including subpoenas and investigations, regulatory and compliance tasks.
