Job summary

AmTrust Financial Services, Inc. is seeking an in-house paralegal in our Cleveland office to support the litigation department's e-discovery needs.

The role involves obtaining, reviewing, redacting, and producing documents in response to subpoenas and other matters, while coordinating with clients and teams. The ideal candidate has 1–3 years as a paralegal with a formal certificate, strong communication, and experience in litigation and e-discovery systems.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of experience as a paralegal.
• Formal paralegal certificate required.
• 1+ year demonstrated experience in litigation.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Experience with document review and production.
• Basic understanding of discovery rules for subpoenas and litigation.

Responsibilities

• Research and analyze law sources to respond to subpoenas for entities in the AmTrust group.
• Collect, review, redact, categorize, and produce documents using in-house e-discovery tools.
• Communicate with clients, witnesses, adversaries, and team members regarding e-discovery needs.
• Interact with colleagues at all levels within the litigation department.
• Manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment.
• Handle confidential information discreetly and maintain data integrity.
• Prioritize deadlines and support multiple attorneys and non-attorneys across investigations, compliance matters, and due diligence.
• Stay current with market trends and perform related duties as assigned.
