Job summary

Goodwill of Central and Coastal Virginia is hiring an E-Commerce Shipper for the Giant Drive (Finance) team. This role handles pick, pack, and ship duties for the E‑Commerce department, initiates FedEx claims, and moves unsold items for relisting or auction.

The position supports E‑Commerce Listing Specialists and requires a high school diploma or GED. No prior experience is required, but knowledge of Goodwill product lines and basic photography for online listings is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• No prior experience required.
• Successful background check required.
• E-commerce research or listing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Pulls items sold/paid on ShopGoodWill for shipping.
• Packs items with appropriate shipping materials in an appropriately sized box for secure shipment.
• Uses FedEx and ShopGoodWill shipment software to ship.
• Meets daily shipment goals.
• Stages packages daily for FedEx pickup, and assists drivers in pickup.
• Opens claims with FedEx for lost or damaged shipments.
• Determines next step for unsold items (relist, combine and list, Outlet, Auction, E-Recycle), and takes action daily.
• May assist with photographing and listing, as directed by the E-Commerce Project Manager.
