Job summary

Goodwill of Central and Coastal Virginia is seeking a Shipping Clerk for the E-Commerce department. You will handle pick, pack and ship tasks, initiate FedEx claims, and assist with apparel and item listings. The role requires attention to detail and adherence to daily shipping goals.

No prior experience is required, but a background check is mandatory and familiarity with online listings is a plus. This is a full-time on-site position in Richmond, VA.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• No previous experience required.
• Criminal background check required.
• E-commerce research or listings experience preferred.
• Knowledge of Goodwill product lines preferred.
• Ability to take acceptable digital photos for listings preferred.

Responsibilities

• Pulls items sold/paid on ShopGoodWill for shipping.
• Packs items with appropriate shipping materials in properly sized boxes.
• Uses FedEx and ShopGoodWill shipment software to ship.
• Meets daily shipment goals.
• Stages packages daily for FedEx pickup and assists drivers.
• Opens claims with FedEx for lost or damaged shipments.
• Determines next steps for unsold items (relist, list, outlet, auction, e-recycle).
• May assist with photographing and listing as directed.
