Job summary

Goodwill of Central and Coastal Virginia is seeking a Shipping Clerk for the E-Commerce department. You will perform pick, pack and ship duties, initiate FedEx claims, and help move unsold items to their next destination. The role supports the E-Commerce Listing Specialists as time allows.

Required is a High School Diploma or GED with no prior experience necessary. Background check is required; e-commerce listing experience is preferred and knowledge of listing photos is a plus.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• No previous experience required.
• E-commerce listing experience preferred.
• Criminal background check required.

Responsibilities

• Pull items sold/paid on ShopGoodWill for shipping.
• Pack items with appropriate shipping materials in an appropriately sized box.
• Use FedEx and ShopGoodWill shipment software to ship.
• Meet daily shipment goals.
• Stage packages daily for FedEx pickup, and assist drivers in pickup.
• Open claims with FedEx for lost or damaged shipments.
• Determine next step in process of unsold items (relist, combine and list, Outlet, Auction, E-Recycle).
• May assist with photographing and listing, as directed by the E-Commerce Project Manager.
