Job summary

The Biltmore Company is hiring an E-Commerce Sales Associate - Flex to support the biltmoreshop.com guest experience. This part-time, 20-29 hour/wk role acts as a liaison between phone orders and packing teams, entering orders in Counterpoint and ShipCompliant for tax reporting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of one year of experience in retail sales or guest service.
• Demonstrated commitment to world-class internal and external guest service.
• Active listening skills with ability to use suggestive selling techniques.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and able to learn POS and inventory systems.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; clear written/verbal communication.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills; detail-oriented.
• Proactive, with good judgement and ability to work independently or in a team.
• Service-minded philosophy in all guest interactions.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and willingness to learn Biltmore software.

Responsibilities

• Work as liaison between phones and fulfillment teams to distribute orders for timely packing and shipping.
• Enter phone and shop orders to meet monthly deadlines for wine compliance and tax reporting.
• Maintain knowledge of Biltmore Shop products and respond to inquiries from phone agents.
• Assist reservations and sales team with inventory requests as needed.
• Ensure orders are distributed to packing locations on time to meet delivery guarantees.
• Provide general assistance to Retail, E-Commerce, and Fulfillment departments as needed.
• Maintain order status and communicate delays or issues to guests.
• Support the E-Commerce lead and contribute to smooth daily operations.
