Job summary

MERS Missouri Goodwill Industries is seeking an energetic E-Commerce Photographer to join the E Commerce - Jennings team. The role supports mission-driven work and requires capturing high-quality product photos, scanning items, and maintaining stock flow within the production area.

The candidate should have strong organizational skills, be able to interact with a diverse workforce, and meet basic typing/communication requirements. Flexible schedules and full-time hourly benefits are available.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively (verbal and written).
• Must be organized and capable of interacting with a diverse work population.
• Typing 40+ WPM preferred.

Responsibilities

• Produce quality photographs that highlight the product well.
• Photographs should be taken from multiple angles and give a visual overview of all critical features, distinguishable markings/tags, or potential flaws.
• Accurately scan in merchandise to track the chain of custody.
• Place photographed items in the designated cart.
• Prepare the production station before and clean the station after every shift.
• Establishes and maintains positive and professional relationships with team members and leadership and works cross-functionally with other teams to increase communication.
• Utilizes safe work practices through awareness and observation and contributes to ensuring the workplace is hazard-free by removing obstructions and keeping aisles and designated walkways debris-free.
• Maintain a professional appearance always, adhering to MERS/Goodwill's dress code.
• Safeguards agency assets, including cash, donated items, and purchased items, from harm, damage, or theft. Reports any incidents of theft or unauthorized possession of agency assets.
• Must adhere to all MERS/Goodwill policies, Goodwill Retail procedures, and safety and security regulations.
• All other duties as assigned.

No degree is required. High School Diploma/GED Preferred. The ability to communicate effectively (verbal and written) with co-workers, customers, and management. Must be organized and capable of interacting with a diverse work population—necessary math, computer, and website navigation skills. Complex reasoning and decision-making skills are required. • Immediate date of hire individual and family medical benefits for full-time employees working 30 or more hours per week.
