Job summary

Kroger Family of Companies is seeking a Store e-Commerce Manager to oversee daily operations, staff development, and achievement of sales goals within the e-Commerce department. You will ensure excellent shopping experiences, hire and train personnel, and lead initiatives to improve productivity, compliance, and customer satisfaction.

The role requires strong leadership, organizational skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office, with the ability to manage schedules and ensure regulatory

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Proven supervisory experience.
• Experience in selection and hiring process.
• Strong organization skills.
• Lift up to 25 pounds frequently and up to 50 pounds several times daily.
• Stand for extended periods or walk constantly.
• Ability to stoop, kneel, or crouch several times per hour.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Strong leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operations of the store's e-Commerce department to achieve sales, goals and budgets.
• Staff the department and develop associates to achieve results.
• Demonstrate Kroger core values: respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion and safety.
• Ensure e-Commerce dept meets/exceeds customer expectations for shopping experience.
• Interview, select and hire candidates for the online department.
• Create schedules according to guidelines and product flow needs.
• Develop associates to meet productivity standards and goals.
• Ensure compliance with laws and food safety procedures.
• Train associates on order selector and customer attendant roles.
• Lead planning and execution of e-Commerce initiatives.
• Achieve/exceed sales, wage budgets, and customer satisfaction targets.
• Assist in competitive landscape analysis and response.
• Ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment and substitutions when needed.
• Streamline order collection, checkout and delivery processes.
• Report inventory issues promptly to leadership.
• Troubleshoot equipment in the e-Commerce area.
• Provide feedback to management on programs' effectiveness.
