Job summary

Kroger is hiring to assist the Store e-Commerce manager in overseeing daily store e-commerce operations at Hayes, VA. The role supports customer satisfaction, staff training and process improvements within a fast-paced environment.

You will help ensure accurate order intake, supervise staff, and uphold food safety and company guidelines while providing reliable customer service and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Minimum: Proven supervisory experience.
• Ability to read shelf tags.
• Basic knowledge of computers and basic math skills.
• Self-directed with ability to execute projects with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Meet/exceed customer expectations for ease of shopping, variety, freshness and cleanliness.
• Ensure team members adhere to laws, food safety procedures and company guidelines.
• Train selectors and customer attendants in required duties.
• Act as the person in charge of the e-Commerce department when the Store e-Commerce manager is unavailable.
• Assist with scheduling to meet operational and associates’ needs.
• Maintain intake of customer orders and distribute work to staff.
• Print and distribute order labels, including perishable orders.
• Troubleshoot e-Commerce equipment and devices.
• Maintain supplies and keep staging areas organized.
• Follow pricing, scanning and inventory procedures and report discrepancies.
