Job summary

Kroger Family of Companies is seeking a Store e-Commerce Support role in Washington to assist the Store e-Commerce manager with day-to-day operations in the department, ensuring customer expectations are met and the shopping experience remains efficient and welcoming.

Responsibilities include supervising staff on duties, training team members, scheduling, order intake, labeling, and troubleshooting equipment.

Qualifications

• Proven supervisory experience.
• Ability to read shelf tags.
• Basic knowledge of computers.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Basic math skills (counting, addition, subtraction).
• Self-directed with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Meet/exceed customer expectations for ease of shopping, variety, freshness and cleanliness.
• Ensure team members adhere to laws, safety procedures and company guidelines.
• Perform duties of selectors and customer attendants as needed.
• Train all functions of selector and customer attendant roles.
• Act as the person in charge of the e-Commerce department when the Store e-Commerce manager is unavailable.
• Assist with scheduling to meet operational needs.
• Maintain intake of customer orders and distribute work to staff.
• Print and distribute order labels, including perishable orders.
• Troubleshoot e-Commerce equipment and devices.
• Maintain supplies and organization of staging areas and equipment.
• Report discrepancies to the store e-Commerce manager.
• Perform opening/closing procedures.
• Learn and implement process improvements.
• Provide feedback on team performance and reviews.
• Handle high paced, sometimes stressful environments and resolve conflicts calmly.
• Maintain honesty and integrity in handling customer and business information.
• Follow directions and seek help to resolve issues.
• Support interactions with minors, individuals with special needs, and older adults.
• Perform essential job functions with/without reasonable accommodation.
