Job summary

The Kroger Family of Companies is seeking a Store e-Commerce team member to assist the Store e-Commerce manager in day-to-day operations at the Glendale, CA location. You will help ensure fast, friendly shopping experiences, supervise staff, and support process improvements in a fast-paced store environment.

Responsibilities include coordinating order intake, training, scheduling, and ensuring compliance with laws and safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Proven supervisory experience.
• Ability to read shelf tags.
• Basic knowledge of computers.
• Basic math skills (e.g., counting, addition, and subtraction).
• Self-directed, ability to execute projects with minimal supervision.
• Experience in production-oriented or warehouse environments, stocking shelves, or cashier work.

Responsibilities

• Meet/exceed customer expectations for ease of shopping, variety, freshness and cleanliness.
• Ensure team members are adhering to laws, food safety procedures and company guidelines.
• Perform responsibilities required of selectors and customer attendants as needed.
• Train all functions and duties of the selector and customer attendant roles.
• Act as the person in charge of the e-Commerce department when the Store e-Commerce manager is unavailable.
• Assist with scheduling to meet operational and associates’ needs.
• Maintain the intake of customer orders and distribute and assign work to staff.
• Print and distribute order labels, including orders for perishable departments.
• Troubleshoot e-Commerce equipment and devices.
• Maintain supplies and organize staging areas and equipment.
• Report discrepancies to pricing, scanning, item location, and temperature types.
• Perform opening and closing procedures.
• Learn and implement process improvements as directed by divisions.
• Provide feedback on daily performance and reviews.
