Job summary

BOSCH in Charleston, SC is hiring a Manufacturing Engineer to lead gearset/transmission processes for the e-Axle production line. The role requires hands-on process leadership, problem solving, and collaboration with internal teams and external partners.

The successful candidate will oversee PFMEA development, process documentation, and training, while supporting ongoing production improvements and customer audits. A BS in Engineering is required, with international travel expected.

Qualifications

• Must be self-driven with ability to lead technical process development.
• Strong problem-solving skills using 8D, 5-Why, Shainin methods.
• Ability to collaborate with international teams and suppliers.

Responsibilities

• Own gearset/transmission loop processes on e-Axle production line.
• Understand transmission/gear components and assembly verification (measurement/meshing).
• Develop best practices and create training/documentation.
• Support and implement lead plant/IPN processes and standards.
• Assist production with problem solving, documentation, and trials for process improvement.
• Derive customer attributes to drive PFMEA and Control Plan.
• Collaborate with internal/external partners on process/equipment optimizations.
• Engage with lead plants, International Production Networks, and experts on new technologies.
• Participate in customer-required process assessments and audits.
