Job summary

Bosch Charleston is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to launch e-mobility production in Charleston, SC. You will own processes for final assembly of electrified motors and axles, develop best practices, and lead production planning with cross-functional and international teams.

The role requires hands-on execution, strong problem-solving skills, and a focus on operational efficiency and technical initiatives within the e-Mobility group. Some travel internationally is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering (or similar field).
• Self-starter, curious, able to lead development of technical processes.
• Minimum three years' experience in automated, industrial manufacturing.
• Comfortable with cross-functional activities and international teams.
• Structured, systematic work approach; adaptable to changes and multi-tasking.
• Willing and able to travel internationally.
• Effective communication at all organization levels.
• Skilled in systematic problem solving (8D, 5-Why, Shainin, etc.).
• Project management and ability to lead teams.

Responsibilities

• Process owner for final assembly of electrified Motors and Axles.
• Develop best practices and create training/documentation.
• Create and execute production plan.
• Support and implement lead plant/IPN processes and standards.
• Assist production with problem solving, documentation and trials for improvements.
• Derive required attributes from customer characteristics for PFMEA and Control Plan.
• Collaborate with partners for process and equipment optimizations.
• Engage with lead plants and international networks on latest technologies.
