Brunswick’s Mercury Marine in Fond du Lac, WI, seeks a Thermodynamic Development Dyno Technician to support engine dynamometer testing and development for propulsion systems. You will install instrumentation, maintain test engines, and troubleshoot issues in a hybrid work setting.

The role emphasizes attention to logs and data, with a focus on performance, emissions, and fuel economy. A High School diploma is required, with a preference for an Engineering/Technical associate degree and AVL Puma

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; Associates degree preferred in engineering/technical field.
• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostics of internal combustion engine systems.
• Experience with dyno testing, engine performance, emissions, tuning is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Conduct dyno testing to optimize base engine hardware and calibrations.
• Rig engines in dyno cell, install instrumentation and connect sensors.
• Perform routine engine maintenance and service on test engines.
• Troubleshoot dyno cell issues, electrical and mechanical faults, and document results.
• Fabricate fixtures and organize dyno area for safe operations.
