Job summary

First Citizens Bank is seeking a Dynatrace Subject Matter Expert (SME) and Team Lead to oversee enterprise observability and application performance monitoring in a large financial services environment.

The role leads a six-member engineering team, drives platform architecture, deployment, and governance, and partners with DevOps, SRE, and infrastructure teams to improve reliability and user experience across cloud, on-prem, and hybrid environments.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of hands-on Dynatrace experience in large enterprise environments.
• 8+ years of overall experience in APM, Observability, or SRE.
• Proven experience leading or supervising technical teams.
• Strong expertise in Dynatrace deployment, topology, alerting and dashboards.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Dynatrace engineers/analysts.
• Set team priorities and manage workload to meet SLAs/KPIs.
• Own platform architecture, deployment, and optimization of Dynatrace environments.
• Define monitoring standards, alerting, naming conventions, and governance.
• Collaborate with development, DevOps, SRE, and infrastructure teams; support incident reviews and provide insights.
