Job summary

Allied Power seeks a hands-on Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central Analyst/Administrator to own the ERP environment. You will configure, administer, and optimize BC, partner with Finance and Operations, and translate business needs into working ERP solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years hands-on experience administering/configuring Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central (or NAV) in production.
• Demonstrated business analysis experience: requirements gathering and translating needs into configuration or enhancements.
• Experience with ERP implementations, module rollouts, or major upgrades is preferred.
• Basic familiarity with integrations (APIs, data transfers) and collaboration with technical teams.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary BC administrator: user/security, permissions, workflows, and settings.
• Configure core setup areas (COA, dimensions, posting groups) aligned with Finance/Operations needs.
• Monitor health, data integrity, and performance; escalate issues to Microsoft/partners as needed.
• Manage environments (sandbox/production) and support release/change management for new features.
• Partner with Finance/Operations to gather requirements and translate to BC config/reports.
• Lead testing, UAT, and change management for new modules and processes.
• Build/maintain reports and dashboards in BC and Power BI to inform decisions.
