Step-By-Step Cultural Arts is seeking a Step Dance Instructor to provide engaging dance instruction and youth enrichment on school campuses and at our studio. You will plan lessons, monitor equipment, supervise students, and support program goals while fostering cultural appreciation for Step.

The role requires at least two years of Step dance experience, classroom teaching, and the ability to work with diverse groups. English fluency is essential; Spanish bilingual skills are preferred.

Qualifications

• Two years of demonstrated success working with children in educational or enrichment settings.
• At least two years of experience performing or training in Step dance.
• Proven classroom teaching experience with diverse student groups.
• Strong verbal and written communication in standard English; bilingual English/Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Instruct TK-12th grade students on school campuses and in the studio.
• Develop and deliver organized, engaging Step lessons aligned to objectives.
• Plan lessons and maintain equipment, supplies, and audio/video tools.
• Supervise students, foster inclusion, and support teamwork and growth.
• Participate in professional development and collaborate with staff.
