Job summary

Amazing Athletes is seeking a passionate Dance Instructor to teach school-age students TK/K through 5th grade in multiple dance styles. You’ll develop lesson plans, choreograph routines for recitals, and create a fun, engaging space for young dancers.

You will collaborate with other instructors, evaluate progress, and adapt curricula as needed while supporting school programs and activities in a dynamic department.

Qualifications

• Be enthusiastic, artistic, and engaging.
• Experience of 1 year in related field is required.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong leadership and decision-making abilities.

Responsibilities

• Teach using various dance styles and methodologies from beginner to advanced level.
• Develop dance curriculums and prepare lesson plans.
• Communicate with a diverse group of instructors and students.
• Evaluate student performance and make recommendations for improvement.
• Choreograph appropriate routines and select music for recitals and concerts.
• Provide a fun, engaging and creative environment.
• Keep up to date in your discipline and implement any changes to the dance routines and curriculum as needed.
• Support in various programs- recess, sports, etc
