Job summary

MGM National Harbor in Maryland is seeking a Workforce Management Specialist to design and manage dynamic staff schedules across all departments, while keeping service levels high.

You will serve as the subject-matter expert for Workforce Management systems, forecast staffing needs with department leaders, and create labor strategies that balance demand with equity and compliance. Applicants should have 2+ years of relevant experience and a high school diploma or GED.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of prior relevant experience.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience with scheduling software is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Build and manage dynamic schedules using workforce management software for all departments.
• Serve as subject matter expert for Workforce Management systems and monitor performance.
• Forecast staffing needs with department leaders and develop efficient labor strategies.
• Design schedules balancing business demand, service excellence, and labor agreements.
• Recommend scheduling improvements and develop new staffing models to drive efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with all legal, legislative, ethical, and equity requirements.
• Process daily schedule activities including leave requests, call-outs, and adjustments.
• Monitor and report on KPIs such as Service Level, Occupancy, Abandon Rates, ASA, and AHT.
• Deliver SH0W service fundamentals to internal customers in a collaborative environment.
