Job summary

BCG Attorney Search in Knoxville, Tennessee is seeking a Workers' Compensation Attorney to manage a complex caseload from pre-litigation through trial. The attorney will provide expert legal support and guidance to clients, handling cases from pre-litigation to litigation and drafting pleadings and motions.

The ideal candidate has a Juris Doctor degree, active state bar membership, and a minimum of two years of workers' compensation experience; wage/hour claims experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• JD from an accredited law school.
• Active bar membership in good standing.
• Minimum 2 years of workers' compensation experience.
• Experience with wage and hour claims is a plus.
• Ability to manage a high-volume caseload.
• Excellent client service and communication skills.

• Superior writing and oral advocacy skills.

Responsibilities

• Handle cases from pre-litigation to litigation.
• Manage pre-suit processes and assist senior attorneys post-suit.
• Draft and file litigation documents, including pleadings and motions.
• Guide clients through the legal process.
• Interact with expert witnesses and draft reports.
• Prepare for and attend depositions, mediations, and court appearances.
