Job summary

Performance Food Group is seeking a Warehouse Receiver at our Glen Allen, VA facility. You will oversee the receiving dock, inspect and verify materials, and ensure accurate documentation and labeling to maintain efficient product flow. This role requires physical stamina and comfort working in multi-temperature environments.

Schedule is Tuesday through Saturday, 12pm until work is completed. Pay is $24.00 per hour with Day 1 health and wellness benefits and opportunities for growth within the

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent experience.
• 6–12 months of warehouse and/or distribution work experience.
• Able to work the scheduled, assigned times and required overtime for the position.
• Able to stand, walk, reach and lift repeatedly throughout shift.
• Able to lift and stack product between 10-35 pounds and up to 80 pounds occasionally.
• Able to work in multi-temperature environments (cooler, freezer, dry).
• Pass pre-employment drug test.

Responsibilities

• Follow all safety policies and procedures; keep work area safe and report hazards.
• Open loading dock doors, prepare area to receive products from tractors; inspect trailers.
• Receive and verify items against the receiving schedule and bill of lading.
• Perform damage checks and temperature/quality verifications; take action as needed.
• Identify and store supplies; enter purchase orders into inventory system.
• Coordinate unloading and transport items to staging areas with forklift/pallet jack.
• Perform housekeeping and equipment checks; secure all equipment at shift end.
