Job summary

Performance Foodservice is seeking a warehouse associate to oversee the receiving dock, inspect and verify materials, and ensure accurate inventory recording. You will maintain safe operations and support the efficient flow of goods through the facility.

Typical shift is Monday through Friday, 10:00am until work is completed, with potential overtime. This role requires the ability to lift up to 80 pounds and operate in multi-temperature environments.

Qualifications

• 6–12 months of warehouse and/or distribution work experience.
• Must be able to work the scheduled, assigned times and required overtime for the position.
• Able to stand, walk, reach and lift repeatedly throughout shift.

Responsibilities

• Follow all safety policies and procedures; keep work area safe and report hazards.
• Open loading dock doors, prepare area to receive products and supplies from trailers, inspect and unload as needed.
• Receive incoming products; verify items against schedule; record counts and ensure quality and labeling.
