Job summary

Performance Food Group is seeking a Warehouse Receiver to oversee the receiving dock, inspect deliveries, verify quantities and quality, and enter data into the inventory system to ensure accurate records and smooth product flow.

This role requires a High School Diploma or GED, 6–12 months of warehouse experience, ability to lift up to 80 pounds, and the stamina to work in multi‑temperature environments; overtime may be required. Safety training and PPE are provided.

Qualifications

• Must have basic warehouse/distribution experience.
• Able to stand, walk, reach and lift repeatedly.
• Able to operate in cooler, freezer and dry areas.
• Must pass pre-employment drug test.

Responsibilities

• Follow safety policies and keep work area safe and report unsafe conditions.
• Review schedule, perform safety checks, obtain supplies required to perform work, and prepare for operations.
• Wear all required Personal Protective Equipment and Safety Gear.
