Job summary

UNFI is seeking a FLEX Order Selection team member to pull customer orders in the warehouse. You will identify pick locations, palletize items, and move them safely using Electric Pallet Jacks and related equipment.

The role requires teamwork, attention to detail, and the ability to work in temperature-controlled environments. Sunday shifts start at 1 PM, with pay increases after two consecutive weeks of productivity and premiums for weekends. Benefits include 401k and more.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Warehouse experience selecting is preferred but not required.
• Lifting objects weighing from less than 20 to 60lbs consistently.
• Occasionally pushing, reaching, pulling, and gripping.
• Must have the ability to work in various temperatures.

Responsibilities

• Identify the pick locations and safely pick the items.
• Inspects assigned equipment for safety issues.
• Picks the correct item and quantity, checking UPC’s or item descriptions.
• Places labels on the side of the cases.
• Shrink wraps and labels with correct truck, stop and other required information.
• Stages pallets in appropriate bay and builds a stable pallet.
• Operates pallet jack/pushcart in a safe and efficient manner.
• Good judgment is required for this position as there may be times when direct supervision may not be immediately available.
