Job summary

UNFI is seeking a warehouse Order Selection associate to accurately pull customer orders and palletize them for shipping. You will operate Electric Pallet Jacks and other palletizing equipment, ensuring items are placed in correct locations and securely prepared for transport.

You'll work on a rotating schedule with long shifts, with opportunities for wage progression and weekend differentials. The role emphasizes safety, attention to detail, and teamwork in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Warehouse experience selecting is preferred but not required.
• Lifts objects weighing from less than 20 to 60lbs consistently.
• Occasionally pushing, reaching, pulling, and gripping.
• Must have the ability to work in various temperatures.

Responsibilities

• Identify the pick locations and safely pick the items.
• Inspects assigned equipment for safety issues.
• Picks the correct item and quantity, checking UPCs or item descriptions.
• Places labels on the side of the cases.
• Shrink wraps and labels with correct truck, stop and other required information.
• Stages pallets in appropriate bay and builds a stable pallet.
• Operates pallet jack/pushcart in a safe and efficient manner.
• Good judgment is required when direct supervision may not be available.
