Job summary

UNFI is seeking a Warehouse Order Selector in Dayville, CT to accurately pull customer orders, palletize them, and move products using electric pallet jacks. You will work in varied temperatures and rely on teamwork to meet deadlines.

Starting wage is $23.75/hour with increases after 2 consecutive weeks of productivity, plus $2.00/hr for weekends and for freezer environments where applicable. Schedule rotates with union rebidding.

Qualifications

• Warehouse experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and work in varied temperatures.
• Familiarity with pallet jacking and RF scanning.

Responsibilities

• Identify pick locations and safely pick items.
• Inspect equipment for safety issues.
• Picks correct item and quantity, checks UPCs.
• Shrink wrap and label pallets.
• Stage pallets in bays and build a stable pallet.
• Immediately inform supervisor of safety concerns.
