Job summary

NFI is seeking a Warehouse Operations Lead in Groveport, OH to coordinate and supervise daily warehouse activities under the Operations Supervisor. You will direct work assignments, support forklift operations, and drive safety, quality, and productivity goals across the team.

The role requires adapting to changing priorities, strong organizational skills, and experience with warehouse processes and WMS. Prior leadership and customer-service focus are valued for this hands-on position.

Qualifications

• Experience in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
• Experience with Warehouse Management System
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Ability to handle changing priorities and use good judgment in stressful situations.
• Good visual acuity to inspect shipments.
• Ability to input data to create a daily inventory report.
• Accuracy in recordkeeping and in sorting, checking, counting, and verifying items received.
• Strong time management, organizational, planning and self-motivation skills.
• MHE experience or desire to learn MHE.
• Attention to detail
• Must have excellent customer service skills

Responsibilities

• Work closely with shift leadership to accomplish shift goals
• Oversees and coordinates warehouse processes such as receiving, put away, picking, and loading of products.
• Directs work assignments to employees
• Provide daily hands-on support in Material Handling and Forklift responsibilities
• Drives compliance with safety, quality, and productivity goals in support of warehouse leadership team objectives
• Brainstorms and suggests new ideas on how to improve processes to supervisor
• Communicates professionally, both orally and written, to internal and external partners
• Communicate problems, concerns, and ideas to management; assists in finding solutions to problem areas.
• Ensures efficient and safe operation of all material handling equipment
• Trains new and current employees on operational SOPs and WIs
• Ensures the warehouse is clean and orderly; including but not limited to organizing and rotating inventory, maintaining product labels, sweeping warehouse, and assist in staging orders for delivery
• Ensure product is stored safely and in the proper place.
• Assists in maintaining the security of the warehouse
• Additional duties as assigned by the warehouse supervisor or manager.
