M&T Bank Exeter is hiring a Float Universal Banker to support branch operations and customer interactions in a dynamic, sales-driven role. You will educate customers on Consumer and Business Banking solutions, drive digital adoption, and assist within a multi-branch area.

The position emphasizes establishing trust, delivering fast solutions, and guiding customers through banking needs with empathy and clarity. Prior retail sales or service experience is valued.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1 year of proven retail sales or customer service experience preferred.
• Bilingual ability is a plus depending on branch needs.

Responsabilités

• Educate customers and explain banking features; make recommendations based on needs.
• Engage customers and promote digital capabilities.
• Explain loan decision criteria at a high level.
• Handle servicing tasks for Consumer and Business Banking relationships.
• Lead with inquiries to identify opportunities for additional banking needs.
• Follow sales process and provide customer-focused guidance.
• Proactively reach out to retain and grow relationships.
• Manage lobby interactions and greet customers to solve banking needs.
• Refer appropriate banking partners when opportunities arise.
• Stay current with AML, BSA, and KYC processes and logs.
• Resolve customer complaints and log interactions.
• Review and resolve overdrafts and process transactions.
• Complete branch operational activities and maintain records.
